Product Applications

NKVE are AISI 304 Stainless Steel multi-impeller vertical centrifugal pumps with coupling; with MCE-P variable frequency drive installed as standard. This product is manufactured by Dab. The pumps are engineered for pressurization in civil and commercial environments, they can also be applied in agriculture and in watering systems. Possibility of remote control with D.Connect (D.Connect Box supplied separately).

Construction Includes Of The Pump

The use of advanced Stainless Steel processing technologies for the main hydraulic components helps to achieve very high performance levels.
The pumps are extremely versatile, thanks to the center distance of the in-line ports, designed to maximize interchangeability.
The parts in contact with the liquid are made of AISI 304 Stainless Steel for NKV S models, or AISI 316 Stainless Steel for NKV X models (only available in special order).
Round flanges as standard (oval, loose, virtual, clamp available on request).
The mechanical seal is made of standard E1 = Graphite/Silicon Carbide/AISI 316/EPDM = BQGE.
FKM/Viton available on request.
Starting from 5,5 KW models, the seal can be removed without removing the motor.
Rigid coupling.

Construction Features Of The Motor

Air-cooled asynchronous motor.
Standard two-pole motor, IE3 50 Hz 0,75 KW or IE2, IE3 60 Hz 0,75 KW.
Motor frame B14 up to 4 KW motor size, motor frame B5 from 5,5 KW motor size.

Construction Features Of The Electronics

The use of the MCE-P variable frequency drive has many advantages: better comfort thanks to the constant pressure at the variation of demand (pressure sensor installed as standard), increased efficiency, energy savings, protection from hammering effects, simpler configuration thanks to the display.
It makes it possible to set a setpoint in case of units with several pumps (each with MCE-P variable frequency drive), or to start a different pump at each restart or at set intervals.
It must be installed on the motor fan cover, also to take advantage of its cooling capabilities.

It has an actual flow rate of 417 Ltr/min. The maximum head for this pump is 88m. This is a Surface Mounted pump which can be suitable when the pump can sit in a dry, accessible location and draw liquid in via a suction pipe or hose.

Product Applications

An in-line circulator pump engineered for circulating hot or cold water. This product is manufactured by Dab. Appropriate for installation directly onto the pipework of civil and industrial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitary water systems.

Construction Features Of The Pump

Pump body and motor support in Cast Iron.
PN 10 flanged suction and delivery ports with threaded holes for control manometers. To make replacement in existing systems easier, the pump can accept PN 6 counter flanges.
Technopolymer impeller. Carbon/ceramic mechanical seal.
The pumps are available both in the single (KLM-KLP) and in the twin (DKLM-DKLP) versions.
For the twin version, a built in clapet valve in the delivery port is also included, to avoid water recirculation when the unit is idle. A blind flange is also supplied as a standard, to be applied during maintenance of one of the two motors.
The twin version gives the possibility of alternating the operation of the pumps when a backup unit is required, or to have the two pumps operating simultaneously.

Construction Features Of The Motor

External ventilation cooling, closed, asynchronous type, with four poles for the KLM and DKLM versions, and two poles for the KLP and DKLP versions.
Rotor running on permanently lubricated ball bearings, oversized to ensure low noise and durability.
Standard built-in thermo-amperometric protection. Capacitor permanently fitted on single phase versions.
For the protection of the three-phase motor, we recommend the use of remote overload cut-outs, in compliance with current local regulations.
Construction according to CEI 2-3.
