Mikrofill - MIkrovent 1000 Low Loss Header - Air & Dirt - Automatic Vent - OBSOLETEThe Mikrovent 1000 is a combined low loss header and air & dirt separator for connected loads up to 1000 kW, enhancing performance in commercial heating and chilled water systems.
As water passes the spiral-wound Stainless Steel brushes, a local low-pressure zone forms behind each filament, releasing dissolved gases. The lower brush encourages deaeration of dissolved gases, while the upper brush helps release entrained gases within the header. Separated air rises to the top and is discharged via the automatic air vent.
- Low loss header + air/dirt separation in a single unit
- Two removable Stainless Steel brushes for efficient degassing
- Automatic air vent provides continuous air removal
- Improves system efficiency by reducing air and particulate contamination
Mikrovent headers are available for connected loads of 150, 250, 400, 750 and 1000 kW, making them a smart addition to new or refurbished LPHW or CHW systems.

Mikrofill Mikrovent
The Mikrovent series combines low-loss headers with air and dirt separation, making it a key component in modern heating and chilled water systems. These units help maintain system performance by reducing energy loss and removing air and debris from circulating water. Innovative design features, such as spiral-wound brushes, encourage dissolved gases to be released and vented automatically, keeping the system running smoothly and preventing airlocks.
