Vertical, multi-stage centrifugal pump unit with inlet and outlet ports on same the level (inline). The pump head and base are in Cast Iron – all other wetted parts are in Stainless Steel. The Grundfos cartridge shaft seal ensures high reliability, safe handling, and straightforward access and service. Power transmission is via a rigid split coupling. Pipe connection is via DIN flanges. The pump is equipped with a 3-phase, fan-cooled asynchronous motor.

Grundfos SP are submersible borehole pumps, designed for pumping groundwater. Grundfos SP are all stainless-steel pumps, and they are available in 3 material grades. The pumps are suitable for boreholes in sizes ranging from 4" over 6" and 8" to 10". The motor sizes for the pumps are available in 0.37-250 kW.

Each power head is fitted with an unbalanced rubber bellows seal. The shaft seal is according to EN 12756. All pipework connection is via PN 16 DIN flanges (EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2). Each power head is fitted with a fan-cooled, permanent-magnet synchronous motor of identical size. Each power head is fitted with a fan-cooled asynchronous motor of indentical size. The motor efficiency is classified as IE5 in accordance with IEC 60034-30-2. The motor includes a frequency converter and PI controller in the motor terminal box. This enables continuously variable control of the motor speed, which again enables adaptation of the performance to a given requirement. The pump is equipped with a differential pressure sensor.

Pressure booster installation supplied as space‑saving assembly according to DIN standard 1988/T5.

All Pumps are speed-controlled.

From 0.37 to 11 kW, the booster installation is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI, CRIE Pumps with electronically commutated permanent-magnet motors with extremely elevated performance. The total performance of the motor including the frequency converter applies to IE5 level in IEC60034-31.

From 15 to 22 kW, the booster installation is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI, CRIE Pumps with motors with integrated frequency management. The total performance of the motor including the frequency converter is better than the IE3 level in IEC60034-31, even though this standard only applies to the motor.
