The pumps are suitable for boreholes in sizes ranging from 4" over 6" and 8" to 10". The motor sizes for the pumps are available in 0.37-250 kW.

Pipe connection is via DIN flanges. The pump is equipped with a 3-phase, fan-cooled asynchronous motor.

Submersible borehole pump, appropriate for pumping clean water. Can be installed vertically or horizontally. All steel components are made in Stainless Steel, EN 1.4301 (AISI 304), that ensures high corrosive resistance. This pump carries drinking water approval. The pump is equipped with a 37 KW MMS6 motor with sand shield, water-lubricated journal bearings and a volume compensating diaphragm. The rewindable motor contruction allows complete access to the windings for straightforward rewinding. The stator windings are PE/PA insulated made for continous operations (S1). appropriate for temperatures up to 50 °C. The motor is fitted with a mechanical shaft seal. The motor is for direct-on-line starting (DOL).

Each power head is fitted with an unbalanced rubber bellows seal. The shaft seal is according to EN 12756. All pipework connection is via PN 16 DIN flanges (EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2). Each power head is fitted with a fan-cooled asynchronous motor of indentical size.

GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster sets are designed for the transfer and pressure boosting of clean water in waterworks, blocks of flats, hotels, industry, hospitals, schools, etc. GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster set consists of 2 to 4 CRIE pumps coupled in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with all the necessary fittings.

Hydro Multi-E is mounted on a common base frame made of Stainless Steel (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4301). On the suction side are fitted a suction manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571) , a pressure switch mounted on a drainable valve and an isolating valve. On the discharge side of the pumps are fitted a non-return valve, an isolating valve, a pressure gauge, two pressure transmitters mounted on a drainable valve a diaphragm tank and a Stainless Steel discharge manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571). The Hydro Multi-E is fitted with an on/off-switch for the supply voltage.

The Hydro Multi-E is designed for maintaining a constant pressure regardless of flow changes and fluctuation.

The internal PI-controller regulates the number of running pumps and the speed of the pumps according to the required flow.

The assembly can be operated directly on the panel of any of the pumps or via Grundfos GO (available as accessory)
