Mains Liquid Boosting Setup

MAINSBOOST Composite offers all the operation benefits of the standard MAINSBOOST range, housed in a vessel which is 30% lighter than the standard MAINSBOOST steel vessel.
Their lightweight composite body makes them easy to manoeuvre and install in places with difficult access.
The unique construction of the MAINSBOOST Composite vessel ensures exceptional standards of water hygiene and makes them the preferred choice for health care facilities.

The MAINSBOOST MB 100CV is designed for 'direct on mains' systems (unvented hot water cylinders and combination boilers) where the incoming mains pressure is greater than 2.5 bar. but the flow is insufficient to meet demand.
MAINSBOOST vessel systems do not require an electrical supply and operate silently.

System cold water storage capacity can be expanded simply by adding one or more MAINSBOOST Add-on pumps as required. 
If the incoming mains water pressure is less than 2.5 bar., a MAINSBOOST Charger pump can be utilised in conjunction with the MAINSBOOST vessel system to boost pressure.

Each pump is supplied with the unique compact MAINSBOOST Monobloc 22/28mm Upstream Kit (USK) as standard which significantly simplifies installation.

The 2 vessel Mainsboost 100 litre vertical composite system with 22 mm connections are installed directly onto the incoming water supply and under mains pressure fills with water. When the chamber is full the pump reaches a state of pressure equilibrium. The Mainsboost system now has a volume of pressurised water ready for distribution throughout the property.

The Stuart Turner range of dosing pots are engineered to insert liquid chemicals, usually corrosion inhibitor or anti-freeze solutions, into closed heating or chilled water systems.

Stuart Turner Dosing Pots are suppoed as a kit of components which will need to be assembled as per the Configuration section of the Technical Documentation.

The dosing pot kit consists of:

The STORMBOOST 100 is the new upgraded and enhanced direct replacement for the original Flomate MBF-100.

STORMBOOST 100 is designed to be connected directly to the incoming cold water mains and activate automatically when a tap is opened or a shower is switched on, boosting mains water pressure and flow throughout the property.

It will deliver up to 17 litres/min flow at up to 3.2 bar. pressure for up to 11 minutes after which time it will deliver up to 12 litres/minute continuously until demand ends and the pressure vessel recharges*.

* The actual flow rate may less less than this and is dependent on the mains supply flow available.

APPLICATIONS

• Boosting mains water pressure to one or two bathroom properties fitted with a combi-boiler
• STORMBOOST 100 fits neatly within a standard 600mm wide kitchen larder pump

Suitable for higher occupancy properties with two bathrooms or more, MBF 100 requires no on-site commissioning and fits neatly within a standard 600 mm kitchen larder pump.
