  3. Flamco Airfix Expansion Vessel - P 1000Ltr

    FL-Airfix P1000

    Flamco - 1000 Ltr - Airfix P Expansion Vessel - Potable Water

Built for sealed potable hot and chilled water systems in domestic and commercial settings, these Potable Water Expansion Vessels stabilise pressure by absorbing thermal expansion for safe, reliable operation.

A nitrogen pre-charge helps retain set pressure longer, while a single threaded steel connection with plastic insert provides a durable, non-flow-through design. Suitable for central heating, cooling and tap water applications (not for solar collector circuits).

    • Nitrogen gas filling for longer pre-charge retention
    • Single threaded steel connection with plastic insert (no flow-through)
    • Potable use supports domestic hot/chilled water
    • Heating & cooling compatible for sealed systems

Designed for long service life with broad operating limits and glycol tolerance for demanding installations.

  4. Grundfos GT-D-240-V Vertical Double Diaphragm Tank - 10 Bar - 240Ltr

    96528346

    Grundfos - GT-D-240-V Vertical Double Diaphragm Tank - 10 Bar. - 240Ltr

Grundfos GT-D are maintenance-free double-diaphragm pressure tanks with a capacity ranging from 100 to 450 litres.
The tanks are designed for a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and a maximum liquid temperature of 90 °C.

The tank is a steel pressure tank with a patented controlled-action CAD-2 diaphragm assembly, pre-charged to 1.4 bar. The tanks have a non-replaceable, chlorine-resistant 100 % butyl diaphragm with a precision-moulded copolymer polypropylene liner for superior air and water separation. The diaphragm assembly seals water in a truly non-corrosive chamber, while the air chamber is sealed with a fixed O-ring and closed cell foam, which provides long-lasting and service-free durability.

The tank is appropriate for drinking-water applications in combination with installations with booster systems, well systems, irrigation systems, thermal expansion, hydronic heating expansion, hydraulic hammer arresting and clean water backwash for ultra-filtration systems. The tank also features:

    • replaceable tank base
    • leakage-free, air valve cap sealed and closed-cell foam
    • two-part polyurethane, epoxy-coated paint finish
    • stainless-steel water connection

  5. Grundfos GT-U-1000-V Vertical Cold Water Bladder Tank - 16 Bar - 1000Ltr

    96603428

    Grundfos - GT-U-1000-V Vertical Cold Water Bladder Tank - 16 Bar. - 1000Ltr

    GT-U-1000 PN16 G11/2 V (coated flange)

Grundfos GT-U are bladder pressure tanks with a capacity ranging from 8 to 3000 litres. The tanks are designed for a maximum operating pressure between 10, 16 and 25 bar and a maximum liquid temperature of 70 °C. The tanks are approved for drinking water.

The tanks are steel pressure tanks, with non-toxic butyl rubber bladder enclosed by compressed nitrogen.

A pressure tank ensures controlled pressure in the water supply and thereby limits the switching frequency of the pump unit in case of low water consumption or loss due to leakage. This ensures increased comfort in your installation by limiting the start and stop frequency of your pump. It also creates a more stable assembly by compensating for pressure drops when a tap is opened, while reducing problems with water hammer in the pipes.

Vessels

Pressure vessels and expansion vessels play a big role in keeping systems safe and balanced. Expansion vessels are commonly used in heating and hot water setups, where they absorb the natural rise in water volume as it heats. This keeps pressure under control, reduces the chance of leaks, and protects boilers, pumps, and pipework from damage.

Pressure vessels are found in pressurised water systems, including potable water supplies. By storing water under pressure, they cut down on pump cycling, extend system life, and deliver a steadier, more reliable flow.

At Pumpify, you’ll find both pressure and expansion vessels in a variety of sizes and specifications, so it’s simple to choose the right fit for your project.
