    Product Applications

    Automatic water lifting sets, particularly appropriate for domestic use, small installations for civil, industrial and agricultural use, washing systems and hobbies.

    These are characterised by the use of JET self-priming electropumps which can operate even when there is air, gas and small quantities of sand in the water.

    The set is composed of a diaphragm tank with capacity 20 litres, pressure switch for automatic operation, pressure gauge, JET electropump complete with power cable and plug, kit for coupling the pump and the tank, all assembled and ready for installation. This product is manufactured by Dab.

    Construction Includes Of The Pump

    Die-cast aluminium pump body and motor support. Technopolymer impeller, diffuser, Venturi tube and sand guard. Stainless Steel pressure discs. Carbon/ceramic mechanical seal.

    Construction Features Of The Motor

    Induction motor, closed and cooled with external ventilation. Rotor mounted on oversized greased sealed-for-life ball bearings to ensure silent running and long life. Built-in thermal and current overload protection and a capacitor permanently in circuit. Manufactured according to CEI 2-3 and CEI 61-69 standards (EN 60335-2-41).     Construction Features Of The Tank

    Horizontal type, capacity 20 litres, with butyl diaphragm, complete with feet on the bottom and brackets for fixing the pump on top.

    2 ESYBOX + ESYTWIN is the electronic water pressurisation set for domestic and residential environments.


    The installation of 2 ESYBOX + ESYTWIN does not require any additional components. This product is manufactured by Dab. It consists of two multistage self-priming pumps with inverter electronics, pressure and flow sensors, adjustable high resolution LCD display, and 2 litre (0.5 US gal) built-in expansion vessel for each pump.


    The water cooled motor, the sound-proofing ABS protection guards, the anti-vibration feet and the electronics, make this a completely silent (45 dB) and compact product.
    The wireless device facilitates the creation of pressurisation sets and the connection to other DAB devices.


    The kit consists of two ESYBOX and one ESYTWIN. The components are supplied disassembled.

    GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster sets are designed for the transfer and pressure boosting of clean water in waterworks, blocks of flats, hotels, industry, hospitals, schools, etc. GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster set consists of 2 to 4 CRIE pumps coupled in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with all the necessary fittings.

    Hydro Multi-E is mounted on a common base frame made of Stainless Steel (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4301). On the suction side are fitted a suction manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571) , a pressure switch mounted on a drainable valve and an isolating valve. On the discharge side of the pumps are fitted a non-return valve, an isolating valve, a pressure gauge, two pressure transmitters mounted on a drainable valve a diaphragm tank and a Stainless Steel discharge manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571). The Hydro Multi-E is fitted with an on/off-switch for the supply voltage.

    The Hydro Multi-E is designed for maintaining a constant pressure regardless of flow changes and fluctuation.

    GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster sets are designed for the transfer and pressure boosting of clean water in waterworks, blocks of flats, hotels, industry, hospitals, schools, etc. GRUNDFOS Hydro Multi-E booster set consists of 2 to 4 CRIE pumps coupled in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with all the necessary fittings.

    Hydro Multi-E is mounted on a common base frame made of Stainless Steel (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4301). On the suction side are fitted a suction manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571) , a pressure switch mounted on a drainable valve and an isolating valve. On the discharge side of the pumps are fitted a non-return valve, an isolating valve, a pressure gauge, two pressure transmitters mounted on a drainable valve a diaphragm tank and a Stainless Steel discharge manifold (DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 or DIN W.-Nr. 1.4571). The Hydro Multi-E is fitted with an on/off-switch for the supply voltage.

    The Hydro Multi-E is designed for maintaining a constant pressure regardless of flow changes and fluctuation.

    The internal PI-controller regulates the number of running pumps and the speed of the pumps according to the required flow.

    The assembly can be operated directly on the panel of any of the pumps or via Grundfos GO (available as accessory)

    All pumps are speed-controlled.

    From 0.37 to 11 kW, the booster system is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI, CRIE pumps with electronically commutated permanent-magnet motors with extremely high efficiency. The total efficiency of the motor including the frequency converter applies to IE5 level in IEC60034-31.

    From 15 to 22 kW, the booster system is equipped with CR, CRE, CRI, CRIE pumps with motors with integrated frequency control. The total efficiency of the motor including the frequency converter is better than the IE3 level in IEC60034-31, even though this standard only applies to the motor.

    • Pump changeover is self-operating and depends on load, time and fault
    • The system performance is adapted to the demand through cutting in/out the required number of pumps and through parallel control of the pumps in operation
    • Hydro MPC-E maintains a constant pressure through continuous adjustment of the speed of the pumps

    The system consists of these parts:
    :vertical, multi-stage, centrifugal pumps, type CRIE 15-3
    Pump parts in contact with the pumped liquid are made of Stainless Steel EN DIN 1.4301 Pump bases and heads are of either Cast Iron/Stainless Steel (CRI) or Cast Iron EN-GJS-500-7 (CR), depending on pump type; other vital parts are made of Stainless Steel EN DIN 1.4301 The pumps are equipped with a service-friendly cartridge shaft seal, HQQE (SiC/SiC/EPDM)

    • Control MPC in a steel cabinet, IP54, including main switch, all required fuses, motor protection, switching equipment and microprocessor-controlled CU 352
    • Pressure gauge and pressure transmitter (analog output 4-20 mA)
    • Adapter with isolating valve for connection of diaphragm tank
    • Non-return valves are certified according to DVGW, isolating valves according to DIN and DVGW
    • One non-return valve (POM) and two isolating valves for each pump
    • Stainless Steel base frame to EN DIN 1.4301 up to CR 90; above CR 90 the pumps are placed on a galvanized I-Beam frame
    • Two Stainless Steel manifolds to EN DIN 1.4571

    Dry-running protection and diaphragm tank are available according to the list of accessories.
