Single-stage, close-coupled, volute twin-head pump unit with in-line suction and discharge ports of identical diameter. The twin-head pump is designed with two parallel power-heads. The pump is of the top-pull-out design, i.e. the power head (motor, pump head and impeller) can be removed for maintenance or service while the pump housing remains in the pipework. Each power head is fitted with an unbalanced rubber bellows seal. The shaft seal is according to EN 12756. All pipework connection is via PN 16 DIN flanges (EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2). Each power head is fitted with a fan-cooled, permanent-magnet synchronous motor of identical size. Each power head is fitted with a fan-cooled asynchronous motor of indentical size. The motor efficiency is classified as IE5 in accordance with IEC 60034-30-2.

Product Applications

An in-line circulator pump engineered for circulating hot or cold water. This product is manufactured by Dab. Appropriate for installation directly onto the pipework of civil and industrial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitary water systems.

Construction Features Of The Pump

Pump body and motor support in Cast Iron.
PN 10 flanged suction and delivery ports with threaded holes for control manometers. To make replacement in existing systems easier, the pump can accept PN 6 counter flanges.
Technopolymer impeller. Carbon/ceramic mechanical seal.
The pumps are available both in the single (KLM-KLP) and in the twin (DKLM-DKLP) versions.
For the twin version, a built in clapet valve in the delivery port is also included, to avoid water recirculation when the unit is idle. A blind flange is also supplied as a standard, to be applied during maintenance of one of the two motors.
The twin version gives the possibility of alternating the operation of the pumps when a backup unit is required, or to have the two pumps operating simultaneously.

External ventilation cooling, closed, asynchronous type, with four poles for the KLM and DKLM versions, and two poles for the KLP and DKLP versions.
Rotor running on permanently lubricated ball bearings, oversized to ensure low noise and durability.
Standard built-in thermo-amperometric protection. Capacitor permanently fitted on single phase versions.
For the protection of the three-phase motor, we recommend the use of remote overload cut-outs, in compliance with current local regulations.
