Mains Boost Setup

FLOMATE MBF-300 is appropriate for household applications with one or two bathrooms.

Designed to sit within a typical kitchen 600 mm larder style cupboard it will deliver up to 24 litres/minute flow at 3.2 bar. pressure, dependant on the chosen pressure vessel variant, to multiple outlets within the property, up to the preset cut-in limit at which time the system will deliver 12 litres/minute until demand ends and the pressure vessel recharges.

Mains Liquid Boosting Setup

The MAINSBOOST MB 300SV-1 is intended for 'direct on mains' systems (unvented hot water cylinders and combination boilers) where the incoming mains pressure is greater than 2.5 bar. but the flow is insufficient to meet demand.
MAINSBOOST vessel systems do not require an electrical supply and operate silently.

System cold water storage capacity can be expanded simply by adding one or more MAINSBOOST Add-on pumps as required. 
If the incoming mains water pressure is less than 2.5 bar., a MAINSBOOST Charger pump can be utilised in conjunction with the MAINSBOOST vessel system to boost pressure.

The MAINSBOOST MB 300SV-1 features a nominal vessel size of 300 litres and a pressurised cold water water storage capacity of approximately 165 litres.
Each pump is supplied with the unique compact MAINSBOOST Monobloc 22/28mm Upstream Kit (USK) as standard which significantly simplifies installation.

Constructed from an epoxy coated steel body and a highly durable virgin butyl diaphragm, all MAINSBOOST vessels are supplied with a 5 year warranty.

The 2 vessel Mainsboost 300 litre vertical steel system with 22 mm connections are installed directly onto the incoming water supply and under mains pressure fills with water. When the chamber is full the pump reaches a state of pressure equilibrium. The Mainsboost system now has a volume of pressurised water ready for distribution throughout the property.

The Stuart Turner range of dosing pots are engineered to insert liquid chemicals, usually corrosion inhibitor or anti-freeze solutions, into closed heating or chilled water systems.

Stuart Turner Dosing Pots are suppoed as a kit of components which will need to be assembled as per the Configuration section of the Technical Documentation.

The dosing pot kit consists of:

• Fabricated vessel with welded construction
• 2 x wall brackets (integral with vessel)
• Manual air vent valve
• Tundish
• 4 x isolation valves
• 4 x pipe nipples
• 2 x tee piece

It will deliver up to 27 litres/min flow at up to 3.2 bar. pressure for up to 11 minutes after which time it will deliver up to 12 litres/minute continuously until demand ends and the pressure vessel recharges*.

* The actual flow rate may less less than this and is dependent on the mains supply flow available.
