    Grundfos STR2-1.5 CN is a regenerative shower pump with universal head and two impellers. This pump is the result of extensive research and development, resulting in a high-performance pump at an affordable price. The shower pump is continuously rated as a regenerative pump making it equipped to overcome air pockets and well-suited where the plumbing route includes multiple bends and elbows. The shower pump is used for boosting both hot and cold water to single showers or uncomplicated bathroom suites where the outlets are above or below the cold-water tank.

    This high-performance composite shower pump has an modernised design, and by incorporating a low-speed induction motor, it improves durability and ensures a long life. This design ensures minimal turbulence in the pump head. The pump is supplied with a adaptable and braided Stainless Steel connection hose making it resistant to corrosion. Anti-vibration feet, long-life carbon graphite and high-density ceramic seals ensure that the operating noise is held at a minimum. The shower pump has built-in thermal protection, which immediately stops the pump motor if it overheats.

    The shower pump is a WRAS-approved product and as such the whole product has undergone and passed extensive mechanical and water quality testing. Additionally, this pump is a regenerative pump making it equipped to overcome air pockets.

    MAGNA3 is a single-phase pump characterised by the controller and control display being integrated in the control box. The pump also has a built-in differential pressure and temperature sensor. The pump housing is available in both cast-iron and stainless-steel versions. The composite rotor can is carbon-fibre reinforced, the bearing plate and rotor cladding are made of Stainless Steel and the stator housing is made of aluminium. The power electronics are air-cooled. MAGNA3 incorporates a 4-pole synchronous, permanent-magnet motor (PM motor). This motor type is characterised by higher efficiency than a conventional asynchronous squirrel-cage motor. The pump speed is controlled by an integrated frequency converter.

    Grundfos SCALA2 is fully integrated, self-priming, space-efficient waterworks for pressure boosting in domestic applications. SCALA2 incorporates integrated speed control, enabling perfect pressure at the taps, meaning that the pump performance automatically adjusts according to demand.

    SCALA2 can be installed in three straightforward steps:

    1. Connect the pipes.

    2. Prime the pump.

    3. Plug the pump into the power outlet, and the pump starts.

    Grundfos SCALA2 has all the components necessary to ensure comfortable pressure:

    • integrated inlet and outlet valves
    • integrated sensors
    • integrated tank
    • integrated variable-speed drive
    • intelligent controller

    SCALA2 features self-priming, which enables the pump to extract water from a level below the pump. Once adequately primed, the pump is capable of effortlessly lifting water from depths down to 8 metres in less than 5 minutes. The pump moreover guarantees dependable water supply in situations where there is a risk of dry running and leakages in the inlet hose or pipes, thereby enhancing the overall reliability of the system.

    In the event of dry running, water shortage, extreme temperatures or if the pump becomes blocked due to seizure or overload, the pump automatically shuts down, preventing damage or motor burnout.

    The pump features an self-operating reset function. In case of dry running or similar alarm, the pump stops. The pump attempts to restart every five minutes for a total of eight times. After the eighth attempt, a new restart attempt occurs every 24 hours. The self-operating reset function can be deactivated. Thanks to its hydraulic design, permanent-magnet motor and water cooling, the pump is extremely low-noise, 44 dB(A) in typical use, which makes it appropriate for indoor as well as outdoor use. Maximum noise level at full load is 53 dB(A).

    The built-in pressure tank reduces the number of starts and stops in case of leakages in the pipe system, thereby prolonging the lifetime of the pump.
