    UPS3 15-50/65 130

    High-efficiency canned-rotor circulator designed for circulating liquids in domestic heating systems. appropriate as stand-alone or integrated circulator pump in existing systems, as replacement or in new heating systems.

    The pump features three control modes:

    • constant-curve mode with three settings
    • proportional-pressure control with two settings
    • constant-pressure control with two settings

    Furthermore, the speed can be controlled by a low-voltage PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) profile A – Heating.

    Additionally, the straightforward and user-friendly one-button interface makes replacement and settings uncomplicated and fast.

    LEDs indicate the actual operating status as well as warnings and alarms

    The design of the pump and chosen materials contribute to a long service life. The pump is self-venting through the system, which contributes to straightforward commissioning. The space-efficient design, featuring a pump head with an integrated control box, fits into most common installations as well as boilers due to the ambient temperature range. Pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. These design features ensure maintenance-free operation. Servicing screw accessible from the front allows for straightforward access to the pump shaft if deblocking of the pump is required once it has been installed.

    The pump housing is made of Cast Iron. The pump housing is electrocoated to improve corrosion resistance.

    The motor is a synchronous permanent-magnet motor characterised by high efficiency. Pump speed is controlled by an integrated frequency converter incorporated in the control box.

    The benchmark for the most high-efficiency circulators is EEI ≤ 0.20.

If a pump fails, the other pump will take over automatically. In backup operation, the backup pump is operated at intervals to prevent seizing.     Grundfos JP 4-54 is a self-priming single-stage centrifugal jet pump with axial inlet and radial outlet for straightforward adaption to local pipe system. With its excellent suction capacity, the JP pump is well-suited for transferring water from wells or ground tanks in a large variety of installations.

    The JP pump is designed for smooth, long-term operation. The overall design is heavy-duty with excellent corrosion resistance thanks to the stainless-steel pump housing, composite impeller and paint application by electrophoresis. JP is small and space-efficient with a lifting handle that makes the pump handy and straightforward to carry. The space-efficient pump features a built-in ejector with guide vanes. This ensures optimum self-priming properties, featuring a suction lift of up to 8 metres. The self-priming pump also ensures stable operation as it is able to lift liquid from below the inlet level and can handle a mix of air and liquid until the pump reaches fully-primed pumping condition.

    The JP pump has built-in thermal protection, which immediately stops the pump if it overheats. The motor is air cooled and equipped with oversized, sealed, greased-for-life ball bearings to ensure silent operation and minimum service.
